Whale sharks are born from the world's largest eggs- 12 inches long, which remain in the mother's body until after the eggs hatch! The fishing divers of Jeju Island, South Korea, are all women- a tradition that dates back hundreds of years! Aquatic fairy wasps are among the world's smallest animals. They are only a fraction of a millimeter long and spend almost all of their lives underwater!

My wife and I got to watch the fishing divers on Jeju (or sometimes called Cheju) Island. They dive without using any breathing apparatus, then cut up what they catch to sell to tourists.
