So, Number 6, a cartoonist, ehh? “Oscar & Wild,” ehh? I don’t suppose you’d care to enlighten us regarding the hidden meanings? There are hidden meanings, aren’t there, Number 6?
I found this easy to read. Well done! But Mr. Six, sir, does the Bugle print your comics this small? I thought inadequate space for the comics was just an American stupidity.
I just added Frog Applause to my comics line-up this past week. What a real treat to finally get a look at Oscar & Wild, after months of wondering about it. Very nicely done, Number Six. I love Oscar’s hat with the earflaps hanging down like Wild’s ears. I hope this becomes regularly available at some point in the near future! Thanks, Ms. Burritt!
GoComics has been stingy with the bandwidth lately, uploading smaller files, or allotting Sunday the same size file as a daily.
This is probably the same size graphic they’d allow for any other Sunday Frog Applause, so the resolution is reduced…. but a newspaper wouldn’t print from it.
The artist or his/her syndicate sends much larger graphics to publishers, but it’s up to the papers to decide what size to print them.
Meanwhile, 6, yes, that’s why I made the remark about Wild hearing that the U was missing —I thought he had to look up “color” in the dictionary.
And pschearer, if you show up here and not there, I left you a comment on Brevity.
THIS IS FANTASTIC! Well done Big Brother! Yes People.. He is my Brother and this comment was written by his Little Sister to embarrass him. Isn’t that the ‘little sister’ role?WELL DONE BIG BROTHER!
Well what a surprise Six! I was caught by surprise went I saw the strip and am glad to know you as a fellow commentor, here on Gocomics! I wish you much success in your strip.
@#Six, I remember hearing something about you drawing a strip, but just lucky to see a mention on Daddy’s Home. Very well done. Like Susan, I have seen tours like that. Our local TV station often takes their helicopter out to grade chools and the pilot gives the kids such a “tour” and I’ve also done a firehouse tour myself ;-)
LOVE IT! Congratulations Number 6! I like the strip, very nice. I hope you can get on Sherpa, try it anyway, and see how it goes. And hey, not every budding comic strip creator gets someone like Greg Cravens to come over and offer encouragement!
‘on the other side of the comments’ - at least they are all great comments. I loved it. I’m adding Frog Applause to my list and waiting for the next Number Six addition. Very funny.
Yay Number Six.I picked a fine day to not have time to look at comics before going to running club.BTW, one reason I didn’t ask to see your work in the time frame others asked was that early on, you had some links in your profile and I’d already seen some of it. I think I asked about your work online ‘cause either the B C B was linked there, or I’d found it (can’t remember that part) to look for you and of course didn’t find your work there. Anyway, again, Yay!
I must have been #95 on the comments today. NUMBER 6 has lots of friends, who are thrilled to see him published on our side of the pond and in colour! (That got red lined, but I will leave it.) And this is #96.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so confused by a comic as I’ve been by the “free coach tour” strip… (I read it about eight or nine times and still didn’t get the joke) but I came back a few hours later and I finally figured it out! (I feel so proud of myself…!).Anyway, I was originally going to post an awkward comment that would try to encourage you, while at the same time avoiding mentioning that I didn’t think it was very funny… but I figured out the coach joke, and I thought it was funny, so I don’t have to worry about that!.These strips were great, and I hope to see more of them!
Very nicely done Number 6! You must let us know immediately when you start posting on sherpa. Also, Thank you Teresa for allowing Number 6 to post his comic here. Then again were just doing this so you could have a day off?

Great job No. 6!!
I love the bus tour.
Believe it or not, last summer I took a fire engine tour exactly like that…. and on purpose! There’s one born every minute….
Wild needs a dictionary cos he can hear the missing “U”? Sharp doggie. If it’s the OED, without a magnifying glass, he’s also sharp-eyed.
BTW I tried to Google your strip a long time ago, but then you said they don’t post it online.Do they yet?
Some day I might have to start coming to this forum too…..
So as you would say ….BCNU.
And I don’t want to forget to say thanks to Ms. Burritt, for letting No. 6 post this!Very generous of you, Teresa, to share your space.

The size here has nothing to do with “print”.
GoComics has been stingy with the bandwidth lately, uploading smaller files, or allotting Sunday the same size file as a daily.

I thought Wilds question was because dogs don’t SEE colors so may not understand the concept. And is he sniffing in the title in honor of Dogsniff?
