Now that you have had your panic, don’t you feel much better?

I love this! I’m always doing the worrying and I really have to remind myself to let other people sink or swim on their own. Oddly enough all you accomplish by worrying is worrying. ;p

I only worry when it affects me. I hate it when other people’s slacking drags me down.

I’m panicking for three… I think this is why I may have an ulcer.

If he puts it off long enough, then he doesn’t have to do it because he has to go to be. Out smarted again Elle.

Those are things that Ellie cares about, not Michael. Why should he be worried?

I used to wonder wny my mother freaked out the way shge did in the mornings when I had it all under control. Now I perceive it is universal. Where there is a mother, there is a post-b reakfast freak-out.

It’s not that he worries… HE doesn’t care if he’s late for school and would probably prefer to miss it. ;-)

Michael is a kid, so missing school.is the priority.

This takes me back to when I was in Jr.High and High school. It would be 10 minutes until the bus came and my mother would be bickering at me to hurry, I was going to miss my bus, it was getting late, I think I hear the bus coming…

I say, if Michael wants to get a failing grade or sit in detention after school for not having his homework with him to turn in then so be it! His unpreparedness when he knows what he’s supposed to do shouldn’t be her emergency. For every action, there’s a consequence — sometimes good, sometimes bad — and it may be time for Elly to just take a step back and let Michael experience that for himself.
