    Bill Cosby once explained this phenomenon. When you stand up, the thought falls into your butt. All she has to do is sit back down, and it will force the thought back into her brain!

    I think music hits a certain part of your brain and stays there. I used to be forgetful and then I started making up little songs with the things I needed to remember and darn if that didn’t work… It seemed silly at first but hey any port in (what’s the saying again?).

    Short term memory is not the first mental process to go – names are. My short term memory is fine, but it takes me five seconds to three months to remember a name.
