As all hope was dying for the tragedy-fraught zera herd, a mysterious hero appeared, with plaid upon his fur and a vengeance in his heart…now, the crocs are truly screwed.

I can’t help but wonder if any of the other Pearls characters have children that they don’t know about. I’d like to see Maura return with a surprise for Guard Duck.

By the way: I didn’t realize, until I saw the strip in the Sunday comics, that Plaid was not just Black and White. He has red and green—wherever they came from.

Zebra dad isn’t really showing expression… If Plaid was to wipe out the croks, what would be left of the strip? The lions seem to have taken, not only a back seat, but have resorted to taking up residence in the trunk, well out of view for… a long time.
