Thanks for reminding me about that episode of the Simpsons.
Another thing I heard about those schools is that the students like to spread nasty rumors about their rival school’s sexuality and promiscuity. Don’t know if that has some truth to it, but then again, things will be said.
As for Tad’s choice of colleges for his kid, it’s all about exclusivity. Just think of it as choosing between Yale and Princeton/Penn. You could also draw the conclusion that Tad must have been rejected by Harvard.
How about thinking more about providing a loving and nurturing environment so the kid will have a solid foundation rather than putting pressure on him/her from day one…

Yeah, since when? Hillary Clinton went to Yale, and she’s had a pretty good career!
(Though, like Drew, questionable taste in husbands …)

LoL! at yesterday’s comic….priceless! Bullies never remember their victims!
I guess he wants to start contributing to the school early so that he can call in some favors for the kid in case he/she doesn’t make the grade.
Oh yeah! Alright, a baby bump…way to go JWF!

I think I’ll stick to blue room for a boy and pink for a girl, but I’m old fashioned.

nah, none of that blur or pink, yellow or a soft green , make it more a gender neutral
maybe the parents to be should start thinking more along the lines of a college trust fund for their child than which school ….
the kid may decide on a technical school
