Well it looks like she didn’t get hurt in the process. However it also looks like in classic form Mona hit some soft snow and landed flat on her face as soon as she let her guard down. The icing on the cake would be if someone recorded the whole thing including the ending.
I concede the point – but my main point is that it’s a very old ski that has even the tip that pointy. I learned in the old days – and until recently, I still used the pencil-straight, pointed type.

A far too common event! BTW, modern skis have NO pointy ends – they’re both rounded. In some cases, there’s no difference between front and back.
