So shall commence the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny.

Gt ready for yet ANOTHER week of this. But on a brighter note, Odorus is much better than Odius.

I’ll still bet Les turns out to be either a neglected or abused teen, and he’s just trying to put up a front to proect himself from the world. Something will happen for this to become known and he’ll get the help he’s been crying for and he and Gunther will become good friends and he’ll join the regular cast of characters in the strip.

Yeah, Gunther, you odorous barbarian. Stop the tyranny by picking on poor Leslie. It’s not his fault his parents named him that.

Well it if does come down to a beat down, will any of the students either come to Gunth’s aid or at least report what happens. .Or Gunther might just learn sometimes it hurts more to shy away from a fight than to be in one.

Ya notice on the 3rd Panel the look in Gunthers eyes. Looks like he had something up his sleeve as I predicted yesterday.

Maybe it is Rosa? Her knowledge of literature is vast. Maybe she is making an intentional pun.

Good work, Mr. Evans!Hint for the future: when spinning a tale, the loquitor needs to introduce the characters, develop them wit detail, introduce a problem, develop the plot, then resolution. Developing the characters and plot is often slow, but the more the detail, the better the build up to the resolution.

Oh god, this is so, so, so stupid. Bullying is NEVER okay, but lets be reminded that it was Gunther who started this whole thing by passive aggressively knocking Les down, TWICE. Gunther was the one who first resorted to violence and made a fool out of Leslie in the middle of the hallway, but Les is automatically the villain here because he’s…bigger, I guess….? Oh, and because he was coming onto Rosa, who easily rebuffed him on her own..? Whatever. Repeatedly publicly humiliating someone who hasn’t technically done anything to you yet is a form of bullying, too, you know.

Please promise me this or maybe just one more strip will be the end of this story line…enough already

Leslie i the one taking the beating: floored by Gunther, rejected & threatened by Rosa, stalled by Gunther, and now mocked & insulted by the gathering audience/crowd. Give it up. Pat Gunther on the shoulder & sit down and have lunch with him. Beam me up, Scotty, my job is done here.

I’d love to see Gunther have a “George McFly” moment where George got so mad he punched Biff and knocked him out and Biff never bothered him again!! :) Go Gunth….Punch Biff (I mean LesLIE)! LOL

Don’t forget that Leslie is $20 richer. Many funny comments today, ie the Guilligans Island reference. PS. I went to school with a guy named Leslie, and he and everyone was fine with the name. PPS thanks for the lyrics to “Beat It”. OH, MORDOCK, you left your glasses next to the coffee pot!!

Gunther is thinking, “I need to find some smarter friends.” Les is thinking, " What the heck…??"

Two days left to the week. 6 panels of ??? Gunther still comes out on top as he confronted Les. I think his fellow students are thinking thatwith their trays in hand, they stand a good chance of wearing their lunch, just as is Gunther.

I’m reminded of Sam Kinison in “Back to School”. Les is thinking “A helper…”

Fights do happen at school. The fight that might have ended this young girls life was watched by many of her classmates. It was also prearranged but nobody stopped it. The girl who died, however, might have had extenuating conditions that contributed to her death.

So Les-lie is a barbarian with an odor. Still don’t know who actually yelled this out. I wouldn’t think Knute has that kind of vocabulary and use of English. :)

Brewster Rockit did that recently in one of its strips. It showed a crowd scene at The Annual Alien Awards.. In the crowd was Chewbacca, Marvin the Martian, Alf, ET, Warf the Klingon and Jabba the Hutt. I’m not sure how many trademark violations occurred but there had to be a bunch.

Odorous doesn’t necessarily mean stinky. Malodorous would mean stinky. Odorous could mean Knute noticed Leslie’s cologne.
