    Otto — LOL!!

    Meanwhile…. Good Morning Crustwood!

I’m dozing off…. way past my bedtime.

Cheryl’s looks like the Paint By Number one that hasn’t been painted yet.

Wonder whether she also found that strip of little plastic paint pots. If not, or they’re all dried up, it’ll cost a fortune to paint the thing.Bt of course, then she’d have a piece of hand-painted art, Crustwood style.

You’re right, Marg — when we’re in town we should drink only bottled water.

GymShoe, does your brain feel different, drinking Hawaii water?

I saw your comment — and right…. both “hiding in plain sight.” LOL!

Dazz was right, too, yesterday…. it IS a party in Crustwood.

    G’night, all….

This reminds me for some reason of a visit we made to one of my wife’s HS classmates. They had an Elvis Presley clock on the kitchen wall, and every half hour it would let loose with “You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog.” I’ve always loved the song, but every time it went off, I jumped about three feet. Anyone know where I can find a Sandy Denny clock that sings “Who knows where the time goes?”

If we’re updating that thing, let’s get some pizza and Diet Coke on the table. And should have painted in that check that they’re obviously arguing over. (I bet they were terrible tippers. “Your reward, my good man, will be in heaven.”)

I’ve always been partial to the SNL skit where Fr. Guido Sarducci bought “the bill for TLS” from a souveneir vendor “ina Roma”.

Well, before we judge, I might point out that Da Vinci was also an inventor. He was especially talented in intricate designs and clockwork machinery. Perhaps this was one of his “lost” works. Of course maybe it should have stayed lost.

@SusanSunshine: If you drink bottled water at the Penny’s make sure you check the bottle out real good first. They may drink the water and refill it with tap, ala Slumdog Millionaire. Come on, if they do it with their coffee, surely they would not hesitate with their bottled water.

    Good Morning Crustwood!!

Of course there was a clock at the last supper. That’s how Jesus and the others knew when it was time for the foot washing.

Good morning all you late partiers! I just arose (I sometimes sleep a little late on weekends and slept till 6:30). I once bought a kitchen clock that played a different bird song on every hour. I haven’t seen it in years (and don’t miss it- got a little annoying). Another novelty clock I had back when my kids were babies was a clock body with pendulum tail and rolling eyes (hasn’t Julie used that in this strip? It would be fitting)

For once, I’m on Burl’s side. Why waste the money on such a tacky clock? @MeGoNow, they were in somebody’s house, not an inn. They’d be breaking the garlic bread and drinking Charles Shaw wine (aka 2buck"). lol

@Acesover, Susan seems to have a much better memory of the old strips. I did not remember Cheryl. I liked that kitsch when I was young, but still would not have chosen that traditional LS. I once did a Sacred heart painting, but not the traditional (rather effeminate looking blond Christ). I painted it in the style of a rough stained glass in bright colors (based on style of G. Roualt.I just changed my avatar to one of his paintings. I had my painting up in moving sale where it was stolen.
