That class envy has made it to the comic page tells us it has truly emerged as a SERIOUS issue every one of us needs to face.

There is a symbiotic relationship between “rich” and “poor”. No, not parasitic. Imagine if everyone in a society were an entrepreneur. People would be out working for themselves and taking large financial risks. It would be chaos. On the flip side, if no one struck out on their own, where would the progress and the jobs come from. Most people are fairly risk adverse. They would rather be comfortable at a low risk job than working hard at a high risk one. .Private property rights allow people to keep what they have worked for. If there are no property rights you are a slave. As long as there are property rights, it will tend to accumulate in the hands of the smarter, harder working risk takers; some lucky lotto winners too, but that doesn’t last.

I remember when America idolized the people that made money instead of demeaning them. Who donates money for health centers and foundations? I don’t know too many poor people that were able to do that in order to help others. But hey, let’s attack the rich so much that people forget to appreciate the ones (which are most) that donate large sums of money to those in need. No, not that want more money, but need it.

The fact people have this “debate” over class warfare is ridiculous. Just because someone has a lot of money doesn’t mean that you don’t have to. That person having money doesn’t take away from you having money.
