Regardless, TJ’s still a rarity in today’s job market—someone who loves his job and goes to work because he wants to, not because he has to.

Ahhhh…am SO glad to see a new arc! Hope not to see Gunther for a LONG while! Now back to TJ and Ann’s Battle of Wits.

I enjoyed the Gunther story arc enough…but I had to go back a little under two months to remember what TJ’s demands were…my gosh…long story arc is long. O_O

Rosa just might at some point have to lash out, when she’s been giving too much finally of patience to a (gag)..

Isn’t TJ always grinning?

Ann is in charge of a dozen teens. Because TJ is not scrubbing toilets doesn’t cause Ann to do it herself. And his familiarity with Ann, while it appears to bother her, I think is going to be part of what brings them togrther, romanticly. I still think Brad is going to come home one day and find the two of them on the couch.

Enjoy it while you can T.J. Having everything go your way may be amusing for awhile, but I have a feeling Ann’s turn to gloat is coming soon. Unless the only weapon in her arsenal is being boss of a weenie shop…that would be kind of pathetic. If she’s a worthy opponant at all, expect the tables to turn soon….

One of the things I like about this strip is that not all of the storylines revolve around Luann; the supporting cast members (Brad, TJ, Toni, Gunther, Knute, Tiffany, Crystal etc.) are adequate enough to have plots developed about them…Come to think of it, I would like to see Bernice interact with some characters outside of Luann!

Finally! It seems like it’s been years since we last saw TJ. Why don’t we just rename the strip “TJ!” and ditch Luann, Gunther, and all those other pathetic losers? Welcome back, TJ!!!

As much as I like Luann, to have the comic centered upon her all the time would make it stale and stagnant— sort of like “Zits.”

FINALLY! It’s Spring here in PA…the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the daffodils are blooming and this comic strip is off on a new tangent. Aaahh..(sigh of relief). Now I am all set for the coming events of TJ and Weenie World. YES!

If Greg Evans reads these postings (I hope), he will utilize Bernice a bit more. As I give it some thought, she seems like the kind of person I would liked to have known, had I been allowed to have girlfriends in High School…

I’m still trying to figure how TJ doubled sales at WeenieWorld. A toothy grin can only carry so far. From my experience, sales at fast food outlets are dependent on product value, location, promotion, service efficiency, the restaurant’s physical attributes, and the strength of area competition. With the possible exception of his own service efficiency, TJ would have control over none of these factors.

Please don’t feed the trolls.

Agreed Namrepus. Just what I was thinking when I read the post questioning how TJ doubled sales..Now about Bernice – what makes you think she’d be more interesting than Gunther? Oh, I guess it’s because she’s a girl!

Thanks so much for the tip— I think I’ll go to that site and suggest to Greg Evans that he create a new character for Bernice to meet. The new guy would be a good-looking intellectual who is utterly obsessed with girls, but has a psychologically disturbed mother who does not want him to go on dates until he graduates from college!

This confidence usually means some trouble is ahead…..

Also, this hypothetical new guy would be a bit arrogant and conceited (due to being smart and handsome), which might make Bernice attracted to him. However, when she finds out about his mother, things would start getting complex…

Actually, how TJ doubles sales is going to be demonstrated. It’s great.

Yes, it is becoming a soap-opera strip about young adults rather than funny teenagers.

Again, it is (actually, has become) a soap-opera strip about young adults. That is why I have come to like it. There is a comedic comic strip running in many papers about a doofus teenage boy that is just not funny anymore. Of course, I am referring to the strip which begins with the letter Z, and features an incredibly lazy main character with ridiculously stupid parents.

I have to admit, I really like the strips with Brad and his girlfriend and best buddy. I would not be opposed to a spin off strip. Should have happened when he became a fireman way back when.

Maybe he has not lost interest, but has chosen to develop her supporting cast. She’s still the star, but the other characters need further elaboration.
