CC: mix all wet and dry ingredients...
form into patties...
...then before grilling...
...leave in ditch for two weeks.
Mouse: Hey, How'd you like my moms recipe, Henry?
CC: loved it, Jonas. I made one little change.
morning crew! happy, happy, happy!!!the best recipes are the ones that you can make your own, Henryi don’t thing its possible to vote an infestation away. : )
I don’t like them. To me, they take away from the good vibe that this strip normally has. For example, today’s strip turned my stomach. Other times, they just seem like selfish parasites, and I encounter enough of those on a daily basis.I know it’s a lot of work for Chip, but I’d like it if they got a separate strip.@Canadian Idiot – I would, but since the rodents’ appearance is random, I come here to read Overboard because I like it otherwise. Yes, I usually move on if it’s about them, but for me it detracts from the strip.Good morning, Crew
Good Morning Crew,I think some of you are missing the point here. Henry, the chief cook, bottle washer, and Capt’n of the “REVENGE” is getting ready for GRILLIN TIME. Let the games begin! As we all know Nate is on a diet and step by step he just might accomplish his goal. We don’t want the ship to sink do we? Then where would the mice go.Have a GREAT DAY MATIE’S
How about…dial down the mice. They’ve taken over the ship and the strip. What happened to the good old days when Henry dated a mermaid, Charley and Seahawk…
Whenever animals come on board (pun intended), they seem to take over the comic strip. Look at what happened with Snoopy on “Peanuts”. Rename “Overboard” to “Jonas”, and be done with it. For my part, I can’t find the button to remove this strip from my daily queue.
Good afternoon, Crew! Chip needs the mice. They’re a whole new realm of possibilities for him. A daily strip must be a terrible challenge…and being “true” to his beliefs (fundamental decency, love of animals, protecting the little guy, etc.) in a cynical world, tougher yet. The strip is remarkable! The cook’s in the galley, Mateys!!

My vote is keep the mice too…those who don’t like them, just “comic-surf” to the next comic!

Gee, I wonder what change Henry made to the recipe, LOL!
Chip knows how I feel! Keep Jonas and company! (But you could bring back Seahawk, Cecilia, Marlene and Janey. Esp. Seahawk)

Keep the mice, but I agree they’re overused. I did like how they helped the crew win a baseball game against the green ship.

I like the mice, too, but sometimes get too much of them (and then I get ideas like the one I saw in today’s “Lio”).

Aw, c’mon—that’s where the extra flavor comes from!
I love the mice, but I agree that them having their own comic might be interesting. Definitely some food for thought.
’Afternoon, Crew … and Happy Friday!
