Good morning, all you Crustwoodians, wherever you are….More Ding-Dongs for the ding-dongs? Oh, wait, those are Ho-Hos, I guess.Ho-Hos for the ding-dongs, then. Oh well.Um…. I wonder wonder wonder which employees won’t be getting raises.I bet the boss “confided” in his “pal” Burl that one of the soon-to-be-passed-over ones has the initials B.P.Burl is still wondering what that nice Brian Peterson ever did to get in trouble. UH oh, maybe you’re right, Leaky…. Maybe Julie IS talking to you…. first Depends, because your name is Leaky….and today… the “Squeaky” wheel gets the boot! Whoa!Coincidence???Well…. probably.
I don’t think Burl has it quite accurate. His boss didn’t say, “Some employees won’t be getting raises this year”. What he said was, “ONE employee won’t be getting a raise this year.”
Verl and Burl have both offended thier bosses and I guess we offended Gymshoe. But really if he was going to comment negatively on everyones comments . . . Good morning all!
I see Verl has a cup saying she loves Ban deoderant (prefer Arrid, myself) and the windows that I open are for temperature control (love this season with no cooling or heating needed) and I think I HAVE bought fabric at “Sew What” but I used to buy fabric the way other women buy shoes (now it is mostly online). Here in Phoenix we have good places for uppolstery fabrics, but no Vogue or Fishman’s.
If you like crawfish indeed! I will probably have something light when it gets around to supper- have not even started on my grapefruit-too busy typing
Gosh, aren’t the Pennys rude enough for all of us? I visit Crustwood to check out what outrageousness Julie has come up with and to enjoy the commentary on the strip. I best like getting to know the players through Crustwood-connected anecdotes (such as learning you-know-who once managed a candy store that had Penny-like regular sample hogs). I have a hard time keeping up with the back-and-forth personals, so I just skim them. Can’t we all just get along?
I just finished with my supper (light because of a late breakfast after workout) I sliced some dry mission figs in half, a sliver of LF Mozz and wrapped them with a little procuitto- 2 slices of the meat, 8 tiny figs and a little sliver of cheese- but sliced 1/4 of a cantalope and had a big handful of fresh watercress. A very yummy meal (with my gin).
@Purple,We in SCA have annual event called “Fabric Wars”. A whole gymnasium or larger size room where everyone brings stuff that they no longer want (mostly famric, yarn trim and ribbons, even beads and even unrelated if they think someone will take interest. It is sold, bartered even given away, contest for the ugliest dress (usually purposly outlandish of mixed scraps). Since moving here I no longer want very warm fabrics (but some camping folks DO) so last year I took some woolens and broulght back some fancy looking brocade and such and beads. FUN
Afraid I don’t like seafood much (almost never see any that was not prefrozen in IL or AZ) ;-( I had great food up in Mass/Ct border at my oldest son’s wedding and what we later had in San Fran was OK (though I don’t remember if I had seafood there -may have had a steak! I am a Beefeater ;-D
Marge and I can now email and she can see my photos on webshots. Those include home projects, my paintings, some of my parchment calligraphy and miniature painting/illumination, photos of the birds and even a video of Cuddles talking, but Facebook has been a total bust!! (no go)

I think I’ll take some time off and grow up. Maybe after a sabbatical the temperature will be a little lower.

@DAZZ – re: fabric, I’m a bit of a fabric and yarn hoarder, myself. I’ve got a bumper sticker that says, ‘Whoever dies with the most fabric wins!’

just how exactly does she regard b.o., with her “social” circle there…as an exclusion, or as a membership qualifier?
