Stephan and Biker Jeff (Frazz) sat down with coffee and talked. OMG! The sky is falling!

Then all of a sudden, Rat punches you in the face.

People who are influenced by comics, are the kind I don’t want to ever meet.

Possibly the best example ever of breaking the “fourth wall”.

The only way for Stephan to correct this is to have guard duck go bazooka a few idiot car drivers who refuse to share the road.

I agree with Rat about annoying cycleists . . . the ones who drive between slowing cars, run red lights and stop signs just to get in front of someone and slow down with their lii’ sissy shorts and helments!

Rat now, too…of course I still do what ever the Crimestoppers’ Notebook tells me…Dick Tracy only gives good directions. Chennelled direct from JHoovah…

I think Rat needs a vacation. He’s too wound up.

Here’s what I do not get. Is it logical for Rat to be so self-referential as a cartoon character (panel 1), but then call for the crippling of his creator (panel 3—calls to mind what happened to Paul Newman in The Hustler), and finally to shatter the fourth wall so violently (panel 4+)? And why, folks, are we allowing Rat to roam here on our side of the wall, AMONG US?!

That strip from February 8 – did that start the war between East and West Coast?

200 complaints… I’m suprised Rat didn’t say something about how shocked he is that there were that many people who read the strip. Hmmm. That has me wondering…. how many of those 200 complaints came from Stephan himself in an attempt to inflate the numbers a little…100? 150?

I find the comments today amusing. It’s like no one that read today’s strip read the strip on Feb 8th. Roll back to that date and read the comments. There were 181 posted here. And many of the dealt with the situation presented. Not actually complaining about it. Have that many people actually stopped reading this comic since then?

love it! Stephan is the best, and I would so hate for any harm to come to him. I love this strip so much, that I always save it to the last to read!

I posted a comment there and I didn’t complain, I agreed with rat. I honk and squeeze the Lance Armstrong types over just out of principle. They don’t belong on the road. Drivers shouldn’t have to “just go around”.
