Post-nearsighted. Had laser surgery in ‘01. Hit 40 this past December, and still have great eyesight. I suppose I’ll need reading glasses soon enough, but as of right now, the peepers are doing great.
My teenagers like to grab my arm and walk me across a parking lot saying loudly " it’s ok mom. I got you. We’re almost there. You’re doing such a good job!". They love me
Hubby had cataract surgery in October. First time since he was eight he hasn’t needed glasses. He still reaches to take them off when he washes his face.Old, old habits are hard to break.
All my life I’ve been near sighted in one eye and far sighted in the other, in my 70s I can still read normal books outdoors with nothing, but need magnifiers all over the house like Beviak.
I’m near-sighted in my left eye and far-sighted in my right eye. There’s a space about an inch in front of my face that I can’t see at all. Fortunately, there’s not a lot of things there that I’m interested in.Also, I apparently need bifocals.
LASIK surgery. Best thing I ever did. Have one eye set for distance and one for reading so no glasses needed at all. It’s called monovision. Works for me.
I am another one like beviek and vldazzle who has reading glasses in every room! Can still read road signs further away than anyone else in the family though!
EXTREMELY near sighted. In my teens, if I needed to read small print I would hold it 3 inches in front of one eye without my glasses. Now, I can use both eyes at about 8 inches.

Nearsighted with a stigmatizim. When wearing glasses, they come off to read. If I’m wearing contacts I need reading glasses. Craziness.
