Brutus: What kind of day is this for the start of spring - it's freezing!
Gladys: Think positive! Look - there's a robin redbreast, a sure sign of spring!
Brutus: That's not a robin redbreast, it's a pigeon with frostbite!
@paul smithAre you anywhere near Peoria? I keep thinking that, as usual in central IL, this weather is just suckering us in for a cold wave that will last til June.
The border of North York/Scarborough/Markham (Steels/Victoria Park Ave) is where I live, and I go to school at Seneca @ York U… so glad I go to York U! LOL it was ‘hard’ to walk today! LOL
Here in Richland WA (where we manufactured plutonium during and after WW-II) it is 10 degrees below normal and the wind is howling. We have had the ripping total of TWO days where the temp got up to 70.

We had an earth-shattering, window-rattling thunderstorm in northeastern PA last night. Winter’s last hurrah?
