FRAZZ BY JEF MALLETT Mrs. Olsen: Any questions? Oh, Dear. Caulfield? Caulfield: If time is money, why do people with more of the one seem to have less of the other? Does an expensive watch guarantee better time? Or a better time? Is tick expensive if tock is cheap? Isn't it curious that a racer wins more prize money the less time he spends in the race? How many hours were in a day 40 years ago if you adjust for inflation? Mrs. Olsen: I don't have time for this nonsense. They don't pay me enough. Frazz: I think you have to choose one.

Fewer and fewer people are wearing watches. We all use our “smart phones” which give us very accurate readings of where we are in the instantaneous flow of time. And allow us to waste vast amounts of this very accurate measured commodity looking at nothing of value.

Time IS Money, and we have a fixed amount of them. Hence less time = more money and vice-versa…

I’ve never enjoyed a comic more. The comments are a bonus. I can’t decide whether to comment on the clock with a bare face (still easy to read for us non digital types) and all the numbers in a mixed up pile at the bottom or…. the two watches that I bought at Long’s in the 2for$10 bin that were labelled as water resistant to 50 meters. They were both great watches until I took them to 51 and 55 meters respectively.
