If this is Opposite Day, wouldn’t that make Danae’s compliment to Lucy in the last panel an insult ?

Females do the “grunt work” of bringing new life into the world….nine months of pregnancy followed by a painful childbirth…we ALREADY rule the world!!!!

“Women already rule the world” is just another line men use to “keep women in their place.” I’ve gotten so I just ignore it.

Got a two year old granddaughter who actually DOES rule the world. One look at her big eyes and everyone does obeisance and starts talking goo-goo. Then she blows them a mock kiss and people literally swoon. Heavy sigh.

One year, the three-year-old decreed that there were to be two birthday cakes, one chocolate, because her grandpa and one of her sisters had a birthday on the same day. And it was so. . . .
