Is grandma trying to look like her mechutanaem (in Spanish, consegro or in English, mother of her child-in-law; only Yiddish, Hebrew and Spanish use one word to describe this relationship). See this week’s present arc to see what thekids’ other grandma looks like.
I just read today’s strip. Rick is doing a much better job this year on the other grandma’s wig, but this grandma (with no work done on her) probably would not comb it out well.
The other grandma is a tad unconventional. But these are the grandparents who regularly fleece their grandkids out of all their savings with the kitchen table poker games.
Wait – this isn’t the most current strip? I thought the comics on this site print what is really being run in the papers today. Or is it the other site that’s older? I checked out the other site – you can’t go back very far.

creators.com/comics has it too. I think they both have pretty much the same line of comics. So I’ve been frequenting arcamax lately.

A old man wearing a hippy hat? Absurd.

What? The kids have a dog in the other strip? How is it possible for there to be TWO storylines running simultaneously? An alternate universe?!?!

These strips are two years old. The blue Creators.com link in the right side column gets you to the other comic without copying and pasting.

Looks like a well functioned family; filled with love, joy, and humor.

Not everyone spotted the humor in my comment, I guess! Ah well :-)

I wish my kids had such cool grandparents – both of my folks have passed and my wifes parents – well, lets just say they are not kid friendly -
