The Encyclopedia Galactica describes a robot as“An automaton designed to do the work of a human being.”
The Marketing Division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation describes a robot as “Your plastic pal who’s fun to be with.”
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy describes the Marketing Division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation as “A bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes.”
Oddly, an edition of the Encyclopedia Galactica that fellthrough a time warp from a thousand years in the futuredescribes the Marketing Division of the Sirius CyberneticsCorporation as “A bunch of mindless jerks who werethe first against the wall when the revolution came.”
THE BOOK – The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
So, is it a coincidence that … thing … is called Siri?
@Fairportfan2—I had that game, on 5-1/4" floppy. I found the online version, and also a solution page; but it never said anything about Marvin! I remember him always wandering through the scene, but you couldn’t interact with him.

It’s interesting how Marvin manages to be up and down at the same time. Maybe the poor parandroid needs a few sessions with Eliza.

It really annoys me that thus strip can no longer be enlarged. I cannot begin to read the smaller script in the last part of this strip
