yes, there are advantages to growing up……no one tells you when to go to bed or when to wake up; no one tells you what to eat or when to eat; you can get in a car and drive any time you want……of course, all those privileges are gone and you are back to being a child again, under the control of someone else as soon as you are stuffed into a nursing home.that puts the growing up thing into another perspective
At least my kids understand that I’d rather be dead than in a “home”. I tried to help my mom, but dad left her POA in the hands of my brother. I plan to maintain good health, but once that is gone, why bother with anything? I currently use NO medicines and work out regularly with free weights. Since I am the eldest person in my entire family and have just drawn my will, I am really glad that my 4 kids are good people.
