    He asked who’s counting? Their department is. Crunchy’s wife helps do the counting for the department as part of her job. She probably knows what the production numbers are. They’re used for performance evaluations, getting grants, and handing out promotions. We learned about this in our city years ago. There was a controversy over writing too many speeding tickets and it was explained to us that the ticket writing counted towards the officer’s production numbers. The police denied that the tickets were written to meet their goals. It doesn’t really matter how long the officer has worked for the department, since it’s year to year. Length of service does matter for promotions. I have a relative who’s a police officer. That’s how I know this.

    I think he means married couples should cooperate, cop couple can compete!!!
