I’ve run the Boston Marathon twice. Beat Bill Rodgers the second time. Of course that’s because he dropped out — it was a really warm day like this year and I felt kinda like these guys by the finish. The big foreground rock looks kinda old school Grinch like.
Wouldn’t work in the actual race, AuldWan. The roads are lined with people, many offering refreshments of all kinds. I mostly took stuff from the toddlers or slightly older kids offering drinks or orange slices to help ensure they enjoyed their “job”.
That one rock looks like a man with a big schnozz. And how those guys get in such a preditctiment? They were in the Boston Marathon but took a right past Pittsburgh.
I was never quite that fast. And the dowhills at Boston killed my legs. By Heartbreak Hill I was walking down the hills, though I could run up and on the flats just fine.

Face in the mountains on the far right. Not sure I want to know what the far left mountain’s supposed to be.

There are lots of reclining figures here. Not a good sign, unless you are Henri Moore.
