You’re unique — just like everyone else…

Ah-ha! Loneliness…the crux of their relationship, as it were. It may lead to a solid friendship…if Marigold can control her ego a bit.

You’re alive - Carpe diem — or anything else of value…

Those two deserve each other.

I have a feeling if Marigold were human, her name would be Buffy.

Love that last panel! And panel 3 is a lovely portrait of Marigold. This is beautiful drawing. (but I notice that Marigold’s horn appears to move a bit — centered in panels 2 and 3 but almost overher right eye in panels 1 and 4; tricky business, this is)

No matter where you search for specialness, it is always to be found somewhere else. Like a cat, it comes only when it is not called.

We are all different, yet we are all the same. We all want to believe we are special and we all suffer loneliness at some point.

Because Bill Watterson fought tooth and nail to keep there from ever being one. If he hadn’t, there probably would have been dozens. How good or bad they would have been is anyone’s guess.

I liked “The Incredibles” also. Thanks for the reminder – haven’t seen it for a year or so.

Really like how Marigold looks in this strip.
