The Obama camp tried to portray Romney as cruel to animals for one apparently harmless incident in the 1980’s, for crying out loud. It just shows how desperate they are to draw attention from the real issue. As Romney put it, It’s the economy, and we’re not stupid.
And for the record, Romney did not strap his dog to the top, he had a animal carrier that was specifically designed to be attached to the cargo rails of a vehicle. Many large dogs travel this way with no harm done. Let’s see, you have a four door sedan, you are going on a trip with a fold down camper being towed, four people in the caqe and you have an large german shepard. Do the math.
