Well, things are moving along. As Flight Suit noted, Telly is gaining weight rather quickly. He’ll be larger than Della Contessa soon! I wish the “boss” (Telly) would let us all in on his plan! The fiddle was the first stage in his plan a couple weeks ago and only a day or two ago it was the final stage. ???
Don’t forget guys… tomorrow is Crime Stoppers Notebook where we learn how to protect ourselves from the bad guys.
There’s a TIME oddity in the Father / Son sequence. On arrival, backstage after the Concert, Sonny say’s “Sorry I’m late Dad” As if there had been an unforseen delay in arriving with the Violin “on time” before the Concert
What was Sonny doing? Getting a week … a week of last practise before sale?
For, in Maestro’s earlier (Nov.26) call to the Police, he “reported” that the son had been missing for a whole week !
And on Dec.2 on his cellphone son, Ludwig’s communication to his buyer is couched in this language (“Yea, I got it and the old man will go ballistic”) seemingly implying he had just THEN, secured the Violin, and not1 week earlier.
This might be yet another example of Locher “forgetting” (or not really caring) what he wrote a few days before. Sad !
Sunday will be a recap. Monday is always a repeat of Friday.
Therefore, on Tuesday the henchman will realize his question wasn’t answered, so the first panel will show him asking for what will be the fourth time what the plan is.
And I’ll bet the boss still won’t give a straight answer.
Fit into a plan?! That quarter-size child’s fiddle could fit in a coat pocket.
I have a plan, though. One of them murders the other one (looks like the son has already murdered the father (both of them inflicting mortal wounds on each other would be too much to hope for)) and the survivor tries to collect the insurance on the smashed copy. He can claim to have killed the other one in self defense, and it’ll be hard to tell the broken remains of a violin are shards of a modern copy rather than an old Stradivarius.
Meanwhile downtown, Kojak can try to find a use for that miniature he paid $2 million for….
I had to smile. I must say your take on Locher’s Dick Tracy pacing and galloping “repetition” seems not only insightful but accurate
And if you listened to his Praetorian Guard (they’re awfully silent these days), they’d have you “believe” - TMS was twisting Locher’s arm to do it that way.
is it just me or are the tuning pegs on the violin/viola/fiddle/Guitar Hero plastic imitation on the NECK and not the scroll at the top of the instrument?
That’ll make tuning a little hard, if not impossible.

That’s just crazy talk right there. Everyone knows that a Stradivarius in Naperville is perfect as drawn. Just ask MPH.

I can’t wait to see what kind of nonsensical plan Locher has dreamed up this time.

“Boss, tell me again how the fiddle fits into our plan.” It’s hard to get thug help that hasn’t had one too many concussions.
