That’s my lawn, too. Fortunately, I have a riding mower.

4 acres! I thought our little weedy garden was too much.

Must get some agent orange or similar.

Thanks a lot, Jim Davis. Yesterday I mowed the lawn, this morning, it rained!

But I not complaining about the rain here in south metro Atlanta. We need every bit we can get.

First time I’ve ever seen Jon do any kind of work.

The never-ending mowing is just not worth it. Many years ago, I replaced my grass with fruits & vegies that taste a million times better that store-bought.

If that’s like the KY I know, it (4 acres) would be 6 or 8 acres if flattened out.

And THIS is why I live in an apartment! :-P

Looks like Jon and Garfield live on the West Coast of Canada :-) Seems like we get rains like that which result in lawns growing, but not like THAT.

A lawn mower isn’t going to be able to handle that mess Jon, you need professional help for grass that could double as a rainforest!

my sympathies, as this happens to my 3/4 acre too!

had a problem with my neighbors tree growing into the side of my house. tree’s gone, and i still have over a quart of RoundUp left.

That kinda problem is why I’ve been gradually converting all my yard into eatable landscaping. (Spell that vegie garden) The tomatoes are delicious, kohlrabi which costs over $2.50 a piece in the local market costs next to nothing and Best of all-I never have to mow.

I’m not sure you understand either the nature of life or the concept of karma (not that I think karma really explains the nature of life either).Whether life is fair or unfair can’t be measured by what happens within a single lifespan. It’s going to take the whole span of human history to make THAT point. And that’s quite intentional because most people simply won’t learn any other way.

When my grass overtakes the backyard i make what looks like a corn maze the kids love it & the dogs but the wife dont she says its just lazyness :p

It’s in Georgia too! Just like what happens here, but imagine it with a large hill across the yard that has about an 80-85° slope. Oh, the ground is eroding too, making it nice and lumpy for the push mower.
