Ever break a window?

I haven’t but my sons each did when they were little.
Once when I was 7 I accidentally broke my grandfather’s windshield. 40 years later, he still wants to know when he’s getting his $50. This from a guy who can’t pick out his own wife when she’s the only other one in the room and she says Hello, dear.
Yes but it wasn’t mine and it was an accident.
Does it count that I backed my car into a tree this morning and broke the tail light? And I SWEAR that tree wasn’t there yesterday!
I’ve never spilled broken window myself, but…
No, but my children broke some.
