Sideways is quite possible (reference: Star Trek). Forwards and backwards, however……..

Interesting thought though. A good GPS will show altitude, so why not have directions such as, “In 30 feet go up 340 feet”?Pcolli, I do like the reference, and tribute, to Douglas Adams.

Ah, yes. Did the BBC radio series ever air in the US? Far better than the TV series, anyway. _______________________________
