Is Skeezix in for a shock! This is where he learns that it will cost him nearly as much to repair the unit as it would to buy a new one – and a new one is going to cost a lot more than Skeezix expected it would.
..the other two comments are spot on…love the stick your tongue out pose on the monitor …that’s exactly how I think electronics feel when they break down in my house…and I have the same reaction
I work in the OPE repair field and I can tell you that nothing it made to be reapired now days. Go buy a new cheap string trimmer and when the coil goes out a a few months guess what? OUR cost on a new coil is more than you paid to the trimmer in the first place.
This strip has gone right into the dumpster recently. I’ve got a book of old comic strips, and back in the depression days and WWII, it was a good strip. Time to shut it down.

Skeezix should read a comic book instead. One of those old ten cent Tip Tops or Popular Comics that reprinted GA.

Time to upgrade to blu-ray. And then find out what real problems are.
