INFESTED!! This tiny flea can jump inches high!! Thats a 30 story building to you and me!! That cockroach down there can run over 14 miles an hour!! faster than most people!! This earwig can tunnel as deep as 6 feet into the ground to escape!! The ants can carry 20 times there body weight!! My flat is infested with "The Avengers"!!

All of these “super” abilities involve short distances (fleas and roaches), very brief bursts of activity (roaches), or very long times to complete the feat (earwigs). Make ‘em big like people and they couldn’t move. (But they’d be much more disgusting.)

but, more importantly, they don’t weigh hardly anything. the more you weigh, the more gravity inflicts itself on you. if those creatures were the same size as their fictional counterparts in those 50’s giant bug thrillers, they could not duplicate the same feats as their normal sized selves
