So we finally get to see her mom, I was wounding if the comic would always be just these two or if it would show other characters. and magical shields can work both ways, it may not always be a good thing. Yah but I love the fact that we got to see the mom, I would be happy either way but seeing her and her house answers a few questions.

I’m guessing we’ll soon see a strip like this:Mom: “Argh! It’s so hard!”Phoebe: “What is, mom?”Mom: “Drawing Unicorns”Phoebe: “You could draw Marigold”Mom: “Who’s Marigold?”P¨hoebe: “My unicorn!”Mom: “You know what? Somehow I’m suddenly not interested anymore.”

Love your use of fonts, Dana! It brings a dimension to the strip that is seldom seen in comics strips.

Kinda makes me wish I’d had MY own unicorn, when I was in high school.

“…and just WHAT is your explanation for coming home at 1:30 in the…? Uh, never mind, it’s not important.”

So now Marigold has been demoted to “my unicorn”. Just another piece of property. Hopefully there will be some story-lines where Marigold realizes that she’s regarded as nothing more than a possession.
