These two are just like Andy and Barney. They play the parts perfectly. Except Barney was skinny.

This strip shows its age….today, no parent in their right mind would buy a gun for their kids at the airport, much less let them point it at a security guard at a checkpoint. If this had been today, the kids would have been cavity searched, put on the no-fly list, etc.

must be Canadian TSA. here in the USA they would have been PROBED.

U ain’t right. But everyone has their own fantasies.

And the other side of the coin, sensible security….

Airport authorities have become over cautious to the point of being paranoid.

I’ll bet this was set before 9/11. If it occurred after that date, the supervisor would be as tightly wound as his subordinate. ;-D

I don’t think the TSA was even around when this strip was written.

The last time I flew on an airplane was to Las Vegas in February, 2000 — 19 months before 9/11. The stories I hear these days regarding the mistreatment of passengers by the TSA does NOT make me want to get on another airplane going anywhere anytime soon!

Or take the train!
