The child does hate football.

Was that part of the plan?

When they say, “go long”, they really mean it.

At least there’s no fuss about getting him on the school bus.

Wow! Lio’s really going long! That looks to me like an intercity bus, not a school bus! Hope Dad’s arm is still strong!

Oh sure, Dad wants to play and Lio runs away. Make dad feel good coming up on pop’s day, enjoy your trip. Maybe dad should go play with Ishy?

Well … he did say (or at least indicate) that Lio should “go long” … never said how far.

It retrospect, I should have indicated that this was a transit bus in some way…maybe a sign up top that says “Downtown”…so people won’t think it’s a school bus…oh, well, ya live and learn…

He’s going long on the bus!

Tell Lio to go long, and the boy goes LONG.
