Perhaps they should’ve worked and taken longer to get through school rather than signing on the dotted line, or did they not know they were signing up to repay money that got them through school?
For those who don’t bother to read any news, student loan interest rates have been going up along with tuition for the past couple of years. Us old fogeys could pay our tuition fees from our summer jobs, a part-time job would help with living expenses and we could be sure of a job that paid decently when we had the degree. Today’s students MAYBE get one out of three.
I agree that nobody forced them to go to school, it would be like buying an expensive car then protesting the high loan, well don’t take the loan or find a cheaper school.

Now-a-days if kids did that, they would have their diploma pulled.

Too bad now they’ll have to buy the gowns! (I rented mine for a lot less than the $135 replacement cost)
