Richard .. can you at least buy it already yellow nowadays?In my high school days it was white.We drove from Madison all the way to Rockford, Illinois a few times a year to stock up, just so my Mom didn’t have to mix in the yellow coloring herself.We were on a tight budget…. but I still think it would have been much better and maybe even cheaper to just stay in town and buy real butter
I love the taste of butter in cookies, pies, and on warm homemade bread. But we with cholesterol problems have to use magarine whether we like it or not. :p

Nowadays you can hardly call it oleo since it is mostly water and not vegetable oil. (check ingredients, they are in order of percentage)
