What horror awaits our hero now?

Something Evil This Way Comes! Petey’s old refuge (he’s an alumnus of Blisshaven Academy) won’t save him this time. Is it Alice; or Madeline; or someone else? Baboo Bumba Oopa!

This is reminding me of 1960s underground comics. Before I was born (I swear) but I did read them! And that’s not a bad thing.

Thompson freed himself of the normal daily newspaper comic writing rules a while ago, so why not the art? (I think we’re past the guest artists?)

My hunch is that Madeline has spoken the weird words. She’s said, “PETEY! Catch-the BALL!!” (Maybe?)

The Uh-Oh baby is a portent of DOOM!!!!!!

Yes it has to be none other than the Uh Oh Baby, although I thought it only bothered Alice and company.

Ahhh – so nice to see a return of a favorite…

Although the battle cry of “Baboo Bumpa Oopa” usually means another baby has taken a liking to Petey’s rattle-shaped head…

Going to be saying “doo dee doo” a lot for now on.

I don’t think it’s the Uh-Oh baby. ALL babies bother Petey. He thinks they have hive minds, especially twins.

I can’t watch, tell me when it’s over!

For the record I knew it was gonna be the uh-oh baby before i read any comments, I swear.

The Uh Oh Baby says, “Uh oh,” not “Baboo bumpa oopa!” This is some new menace. We can only dread what horrors tomorrow’s strip may reveal. :O
