What about us who prefer to be ruled by democratic choice, honest facts, logic and reason and really want our fairy tales to start with “Once upon a time” rather than “Thus saith the (insert favorite deity name here)”
If wikipedia is to be believed, Romney doesn’t believe in the “Mormon White Horse Philosophy”. I was amazed to see that it even existed and it certainly makes for a fun cartoon. It sounds like something out of a Monty Python skit.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Horse_Prophecy
lol . . . too true. But I’ve moved even beyond that. It’s time to accept corporate rule as the norm. Here to stay. Start thinking about how to make them more accountable to us masses, not just shareholders.
Raising the money I need to get out to Derby City Comic Con at the end of this month, so 10% off everything in the TNAOQV store this week only. http://www.newadventuresofqueenvictoria.com/store
Don’t I wish! That would definitely add a little sparkle to another wise predictable election season. I’ve already worn out the mute button on my remote.
The white horse is a red herring. I’m more concerned about how Romney impersonated a police officer, which is a serious crime.Romney impersonates police officer
No, Romney doesn’t believe in the white horse “prophecy.” I’ve been Mormon all my life and I’ve never heard anyone reference the white horse prophecy over the pulpit. It’s not doctrine. It’s more of urban legend. The actual source of it is a guy who wrote about a conversation he had with a guy who said he had had a conversation with Joseph Smith over 50+ years earlier! Just thought I’d put that out there. . . I don’t care much for Romney, and I don’t know who I’ll vote for yet, but I was surprised to see this old chestnut associated with Romney!
Anyone seen the political ad where Romney takes what Obama says about the economy totally out of context, attributing the words to Obama who was actually quoting what McCain said? When called on it he says “what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander”. He won’t even admit his ad was a lie. He is a pathological liar. You know the type.
indieme, that’s called Lying for the Lord, and it’s as basic to Mormonism as magic U-trou. But be careful, if you point it out, you might get a visit from the Sons of Dan.

It is time for America to be ruled by a Bishop.

In this case I think I’d prefer a Queen to a Bishop, mate.

A phrase that ends with “And the horse you rode in on” comes to mind…
