The guest who wouldn’t leave

Whatever. The girl is really mad at one of them though.

Whenever a waitress/hostess tells me to sit where ever I want to I.m allways tempted to do something like the above.

How rude. I bet they did the same thing in high school, wouldn’t let people sit with them in the lunchroom.

maybe they are on Amtrak. Just when a couple wants to share a meal together in privacy, the conductor sits a complete stranger of his choice at their booth.what, you paid 800 dollars to go cross country on a romantic train ride and you have to share your dinner with strangers?yep

In Germany a waiter/waitress may come up to your table and ask ist heir frei? if you respond ja you have a lunch guest at your table.

I dislike dining alone so (altho of Brit ancestry) I enjoy sharing tables.
