Unusually perspicacious of you, Mona, to notice that your life (already) sucks. Now, what do you propose to do about it? Or will you wallow in its suckiness?

Poor little tsundere. Her whole world is about to crumble because she just couldn’t spit it out. Now Lucas has decided to stop dealing with Mona’s narcissism and make something out of his life. At least she still has Donna…until she confesses that she’s never liked Donna.

The irony of it all is that everyone who wants Mona to be the Mary Sue they want her to be (because they want to emulate her) are more like Donna than they think.

this is a classic comic strip romance moment, yesterday we had the laugh, today we get the tears, soon she’ll take off after him

If it were a movie, it would have the classic Hollywood ending – but this is a comic strip, and you can’t have the conclusion because that would end the strip.
