The Meaning of Lila by John Forgetta and L.A. Rose for June 25, 2012

Lila should just point out to her that THIS is likely the only way she’ll EVER get a Grandchild!

Go in from a position of strength, declaring victory. It confuses the enemy enough that you’ll usually win by deffault!

But they HAVE met…. and Mrs. Klein tried to buy Lila off with a big check.

If she tries again, Lila will be in a very difficult moral position…. needing money, and thinking she’s going to leave Matthew anyway but also knowing it would be unethical to accept money for it.

Mommy sure has no problem bad mouthing our Lila,I thought she was dead of that heart attack?

With all of the scheming, Mrs Klein and Lila seem a lot alike.

I agree with Susan they already met and the mom tried to pay off Lila with a small amount check. To me a lot of money.

I am shock that Mrs Klein is still alive.

Maybe a fraternal grand mother? Or a typo, don’t know which…

For some mothers, no woman is good enough for their sons. and the rich ones are the worse. Unless they are from the same social strata, they won’t accept them.

Hey! That is witty and quite to the point! And Lila knows it! They WILL get along! I’m sure they’ll work out some grudging respect for each other…. and probably end up being best friends.

Last time I saw Mrs. Klein, she was being carried out of a restaurant by paramedics. I thought she bought the farm in that strip. She survived!?

Obviously Mrs. Klein survived. She won’t give up till she’s either caused Lila’s wedding to be cancelled or has destroyed the marriage. Then she can die in peace.
