Mike was right. This is one good week!

In the last panel, Mumbles is looking pretty spiffy for a guy that’s been shot three times… Too bad he wasn’t shot a fourth, because he’d have a quartet of bullet wounds. (rimshot). Thanks folks, I’ll be here all weekend.

Is Tess’s gun still pink? I hope BB Eyes has Mumbles staying power. The cloning saga seemed trite to me but killing off the quartet (in an explosion no less) was awesome.

How many times has Mumbles “died” – four?

Great stuff, never thought I’d see Johnny again. He does not appear to have the same “charmed” life he once did, but time hurts all of us.

Panda awaits tomorrow.

I’d bet Mumbles is wearing some sort of body armor; hence, shot three times but still just dazed and bruised! But as the battle thins out, I now fear even more than yesterday that Panda may shotgun down Blaze or Davey, either by accident or on purpose, as they round that corner he’s covering.

Gotta say, I really like seeing Tess get into the action. I hope this story isn’t the last we see of that.

Man, I do like Mumbles. The one time I ever wrote a proper letter of complaint to the strip’s creative team was after Killian’s sloppy “anti-canon” storyline. But today’s accounting of bullet wounds does beg the question— what exactly happened ’tween Mumbles & Littleface in their O.S. shootout? Tracy heard shots fired so did neither party connect or is Littleface secretly hit?

I did think Mike had Mumbles destined for the barracuda tank. AND since someone’s gotta be going in that makes it either comicbook bag boy or Panda. Depends on who Panda shoots…

I’d love to see Tracy get into the Mumbles act right now with an, “Aw, what the heck” as he sticks his gun into Mumbles ribs and pulls the trigger. Okay, strip suddenly becomes comedy. But seriously folks, gotta hand it to the manufacturer of Kadaver’s smoke pellets. What staying power!

I want to know if Pat Patton is alive or not.

for someone that took three shots, mumbles doesnt have a bloodstain anywhere… where exactly did they shoot him? lol! plus tess’ gun isnt pink anymore.. odd, maybe its a glow in the dark variety lol.

OH CRAP! i just had a very veeery bad thought! johnny (THE MAN!) adonis is leading mumbles away, and they look like theyre ready to “turn the corner”. HOPEFULLY panda has a clear enough line of fire to determine that its NOT tracy turning the corner, but johnny, and DOESNT fire! i’d HATE to have johnny buy the farm after not seeing him around for so long! and why is tracy surprised that tess shot mumbles? did he think the gun was just for decoration? ya know… now that tracy knows his wife can competently handle a firearm, i bet he comes home everynight in time for dinner! LOL!

Mumbles needs to go bet on the trifecta.

In the last panel, everyone’s face is in direct light, except for Tracy. He is standing right in the middle of everyone else, and yet his face is in shadow. This is not the first time that Joe has done this. Personal preference here – I would rather see Tracy’s famous profile, unless there is some compelling reason to have everyone’s face in shadow. But, that’s just my idea. Still a very great artist at work, here, and a great story.

There is too much violence in this “comic” strip, by far.Detective Tracy should get back to detecting.

Mike, thanks for the clue! At least we now know that Panda doesn’t fill Tracy full of buckshot and he lives to detect! Two years ago, we’d be rootin’ for Panda to put him out of his misery!

I can only assume Mumbles is wearing a bullet “proof” (resistant is a more correct term) vest. Can’t wait to see what happens next. Good writting Mike and Wndrwrthg!!!

Tess in action is lovely…but what about Bonnie Braids?Davey Mylar is as convincing as Mr Crime as Fearless Fosdick as a detective. I can see he’s terrified!

Ok. Mumbles is captured-for now, BB Eyes knocked out, presumably also cuffed and Doubleup probably dead. I think (and hope) Kadaver has simply ‘disappeared’ like in his last episode- I like him. But I keep thinking that after all of the smoke clears and casualties are being tended to there will be one more person in the morgue to visit-Pat PAtton. Hope not, but somehow the image of a silent panel tribute keeps coming to me.

I still think Johnny is the red shirt…

regarding yesterday, I didn’t mean Mr. Bribery WAS filler……heck, no, I loved the character! But his “episode” did seem to go on forever……with him basically taking a week to do one simple thing at times…….back to the present; if Tracy was almost in Panda’s range, I guess a lot of them are now……wonder if kadaver’s sword gets him before he gets a shot off, since BB Eyes managed to escape that misfortune. Hey, and if Davey and Blaze do escape, we’re all set up for a “new” gang to form, aren’t we? Hmmmm……..

Looks like Mumbles is afraid of developing lead poisoning.Now the real question is, who’s Panda going to shoot? Johnny? Fritz Ann? Blaze? Davey?Four more days or mystery and mayhem! Ohboyohboyohboy!

Vincent’s insurance company hired the Tracy Agency, not Kassie. I suspect Tess and Johnny were deputized because Tracy and pals wanted to make sure they didn’t have a mole on their immediate team. I also suspect the Leonard had his own gun as a member of the Mr Crime gang.

That palookah takes a lot of shootin.

Great stuff today … but, then, Team Tracy delivers great stuff everyday.
