What is the cliche… the “Long, Long Winding Road”, Freddie with his goalie mask and chain saw, the “Endless Desert” or the trials and tribulations suffered Brigham Young before entering UTAH?

Where"s the Burma Shave sign just behind the guy in the hockey mask? The Burma Shave sign was always at the end of the line of signs along the highway, and with the chainsaw signalling the end of the line for anyonegiving this guy a ride.

Never have known of anyone ever having tried the eggs and beer combo and was never brave enough to give it a try.Now that you’ve provided this reminder, maybe willgive it a whirl after imbibing a sufficient amount of brew to induce a good buzz.

Thanks for this from one who’s been there, and done that. Can’t argue with that, but still think a good buzz is a prerequisite to trying that concoction in my case.Good idea for us Joe Sixpacks who can barely afford Budweiser, though.

Here’s one that has application to today’s strip, if anyone thinks a rabbit’s foot will spare them from being turned into mincemeat by the chainsaw.

    On curves ahead………Remember sonny………That rabbit’s foot didn’t save the bunny……BURMA SHAVE.

Promise to stop before turning this into a Burma Shave commercial, and we’re not getting any royalties for inserting them. And those signs were everywhere. Thousands of jingles.

Posted by a proud member of Citizens For Revival of Burma Shave Signs, unpaid. If they want to incite a widespread outcry for revival, we’re going to have to see some green first.

This strip well demonstrates the attitude of each political party toward the other and even toward their constituents…er…well, either that or the moral and spiritual wasteland left by nefarious religious entities….er…oh, never mind again. (Sigh…timing is everything!)
