Although just a comic/cartoon I am sure a real life person representation of Clovia and Slim would be different with crows feet, laugh and frown lines and streaks of gray.
I will side with Slim on this today. Which of us would not have been terrified on that bridge? Joel and Rufus, as much as we love them, are too clueless to be afraid.
Verbally attacking your spouse is the wrong way to answer, Slim. Yes, it was a horrific experience. You could explain this without the “YOU, YOU” in your answers. I would suggest counseling for yourself and the lovely Clovia. You should count your lucky stars she stays with you, your low self esteem and your “me first” attitude.

Not frantic, Slim, you were terrified…she would have been too if she had known. On the other hand, Slim, with all that blubber…

It is sad that Rufus and Joel are missing from today’s comic. However, at least they were mentioned.

Yes, Slim, she’s frantic… because she cares about someone besides herself… a concept you might want to start emulating…

Knowing she has been frantic, telling her that there really was something to be alarmed about is going to make her feel better—how?

I sure hope Slim is listening to all the helpful comments …. oh wait, he is just a figment of imagination, isn’t he?
