Well, now…this explains why my little terrier won’t eat a lot of what I put down for him…he’s part cat!
(When offered roast beef or chicken, he still refuses. Never had a dog that would refuse good meat, but, then again, I never had a dog/cat crossbreed!)
When I picked out my dog at the Humane Society, his dog food was all over the floor. I didn’t think too much about it. When I got him home I watched him flip his bowl over. He does it every day. Sometimes the food goes all over and sometimes it all stays inside the bowl. He gets really frustrated when the latter happens.

Dogs do not eat their food so much as inhale it.

My dogs have always been grazers. They eat anything, but at their own pace.

My dog flips the bowl so she can eat one piece of kibble at a time. My cat won’t touch canned cat food. Never had a cat like that before!
