It’s an ill wind that blows no good. Is this the good with for-profit schools? SEC sports schools spend more on athletics than on academics, because, “it brings in donations from alumni.”

Re: today’s stripIt brought back memories of the local town fire department coming onto our college campus to break up a bonfire pep rally for our basketball team.We did not take this unwarranted intrusion lightly. It ended with our dismantling their brand new firetruck ! Needless-to-say the entire student body were in deep trouble the following day.

Question for TROLL:πIf our sworn enemy communist China (OSECC), were to invade our sworn ally Formosa (Taiwan), as OSECC has sworn to do, then would we BORROW a trillion dollars from OSECC in order to fight OSECC? As we are sworn by treaty with Formosa to do?πAnd would OSECC loan it to us?πOr should we just PRINT the trillion and add it onto the national debt?πC’mon TROLL, you’re God (or godlet) now, answer up!

What kind of memories would one have from a “virtual college education/experience” – total recall? sim-college?Online classes have their place and meet the needs of many adults, but I don’t see total on-line learning taking the place of the classroom experience. It blows my mind that on-line learning is being offered K-12. It must be about the profit motive. Thanks to GT for bringing the issue to our attention. I’ve spoken to a few people about it and they were not even aware of the for-profit angle.

Babygirl, yeah, I’ve been thinking about you and what you’ve been saying about flagging. You’re an intelligent person. But I don’t think I’m going to flag Guard SGT, because I don’t think GoComics is going to do anything about him.πAs long as he’s not using censored language or making physical threats, then he’s probably going to survive GoComics management.πHowever, I take your point about not feeding him. And I’ll quit harassing him — in awhile. (I haven’t been answering him before today.)πGuess we’ll just have to suffer him like we suffer the heat, or the gnats outside.πSigh.

“… you fight first and figure out how to pay later ….”πWith an attitude like that you’d also invade Russia and any other country that doesn’t agree, like Canada. You’d add trillions upon trillions to the national debt. You’d kill millions more of American troops. πYou also have no idea how much just the annual SERVICE on that debt would cost. So much that you would probably incite revolution and civil war in this country.

REMF confirms he’s NBC: Non-Brained Conservative? MAricopa Sheriff is just as big a joke. He couldn’t get a security clearance to guard Mitt’s toilet paper supply. Which speaking of the “corrupt party”, maybe if the Republicans would pay back some of what they’ve cost us since Reagan took office? Well, there wouldn’t be any significant national debt.
