I often smell like Booker’s bourbon mixed with the musty essence of gutter slime.

The money message in question clearly says: Save the Coast. If you tilt your head to the right it becomes very clear.

AMELIA EARHARTThere are local connections with that picture. She’s standing by the Lockheed Electra Purdue University helped her buy and with which she tried to fly around the world.

Today might seem like a good day to not have a sense of smell (I don’t) but not so much. I think some sinus operations when I was very young killed off the sense of smell, but left intact the smelling ability of the passage between nose and mouth. My sense of taste is good* and I can ‘taste’ strong organic odors. Imagining the taste of apple mint tea and virile donkey sweat isn’t a good experience.*I can discern every flavor I’ve encountered and agree with people about what’s good and not good but I do not assume anyone is going to agree with me on the finer points of taste so I never do any kind of food or drink reviewing. Though I should do beer reviews because there are so many people who write bad reviews for decent beers because they taste it at the wrong temperature.

I object to all these fruity smells for personal hygiene. I mean, I like jasmine tea but I’m not gonna smear it all over me.On the other hand, if I were a virile donkey it might make for a nice change.

Love the old food signs. Chickens, I can tell you from personal experience, are definitely cannibals.

I’ve heard the same of turkeys. They will descend, in mass, upon anything that appears vulnerable- another turkey, a dog, a child, whatever and devour it like Piranha. These were turkey farm turkeys. I wonder if it is somehow a product of domestication or if wild turkeys exhibit the same behavior. One thing I do know is that a little Wild Turkey in me can make crazy things happen ;)

The “Godzilla Tea Time (1954)” is pretty funny. Godzilla looks like he is standing there very dejectedly while his buddies drink tea. Is he bummed because no one thought to bring him his “Aero” brand coffee? Oh the humanity!

Throw in a bit of castoreum with ambergris as a fixative and you may have a reasonable perfume.
