Well he did give more than fair warning. Stressed out Dick! Is acting like Basil, easy to order other’s into harm’s way.

Never bring a machine gun to a bow-and-arrow fight.

Da, Ivan you really “showed him”! One fat, sweaty, murderous Russkie down, and one sneaky, evil Russkie to go. At least Tarzan waited until after Thanksgiving to pluck that turkey! Dr. Dick is acting like one! Basil will be captured and made to talk very soon. Now where is that old salty sailor boy B’wana Q.? Too much turkey and stuffing, and of course, too much Oregoneon brew!:)> IndigestionGowa!!

Machine gun didn’t work too well against bow & arrow WWII dark of night sniper attacks. The other guards never knew the 1st guy was down.

Love the violence in this strip. You’d never get away with that today.

Never bring a gun to an arrow fight. It makes sense; a bow and arrow is light, silent when fired, and deadly. Just ask the French knights at Poitiers, Cressy and Agincourt.
