You know looking back the San Jose area had a lot going for it. I lived there for 40 years, beginning in 1961. Toward the end it wasn’t so great with the cost of living so high and so many more people. The Rose gardens were nice. Small and no trees, but (at that time) free to wander in, in a lovely neighborhood.
