dad: ta-dah! it took forty minutes, a pack of wet wipes, a bath and a complete change of clothes, but the blowout was conquered!
Thatababy: blork!
dad: that never gets old.
I don’t like to complain about the illustrations because I absolutely love this strip (have read it everyday since day one), but an armless baby creeps me out a bit…
I’ve had a few moments like this myself and it usually happens when we are away visiting someone or on the road. And yes, “blork” is surprisingly very accurate to describe the sound.
He had hands the other day when he was camouflaging himself. I think “Blork!” is the greatest sound effect since the late great Don Martin was around. (I wonder if he ever used that?)

While I pity Thatadad here, this one made me laugh out loud—largely due to the BLORK. Well done, Paul.
